Second, you need to have an audience. People who show an interest and consistently read your blog. We call this traffic in the blogging world. You must drive massive traffic to your site. Third, in order to generate an income you must monetize your blog. Do this with ads, affiliate marketing, sponsor post and selling your own products/services.

Last but not least, concentrate on branding. Look professional and create recognition with your website and social media platforms.
